I’m on my way to Kyoto now to visit my angels. They’re very good friends who always support me, and I’m truly humbled and grateful from the bottom of my heart. They’re a lesbian couple, and I was a witness at their marriage ceremony.
They’re incredibly smart and constantly surprise me. I love listening to their opinions, and I’m always impressed by the way they think. They’re completely different from anyone I’ve met in my life—their insight is amazing. Sometimes it even feels like they know everything. And no, I’m not exaggerating. I’m just really lucky to have them.
You know, when you meet most people, you can already predict how they’ll react, what they’ll say, or how they’ll answer your questions. But they’re not like that at all. Their words always surprise me—deep insight, sharp sensibility, everything.
Meeting new people in life is a gift. Yeah, sometimes you fail. LOL.
But even when you meet someone who isn’t a good match, that’s still a gift—it gives you a chance to learn.
…Okay, I think I just said something pretty nice. LOL
