Last night, I went to the gym after work, had a solid workout, came home, and ate dinner. I did this and that as usual, but then I realized—I still had plenty of time to relax before going to bed.
Normally, I feel like it’s already bedtime by the time I finish everything.
So I just lay down and listened to music. Nothing else.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I had that kind of quiet moment. Usually, I try to finish all the things I “need” to do just to make space for relaxing… and then I end up checking my iPhone anyway, never actually unplugging.
But last night was different.
I wrote a short blog post in Japanese, put on my favorite songs, and just listened. It reminded me of when I was younger—discovering new sounds, exploring music like it was a whole world.
And this morning felt completely different too. I was deeply relaxed, satisfied, on another level.
Then early this evening, right before leaving the office, I realized I double-booked myself for Saturday.
OMG. lol
My perfectly harmonized world collapsed in a second. LOL
Anyway, I’ll figure it out somehow.
This weekend is going to be crazy busy—but I’m going to enjoy it!
